Welfare Department

A State Program that administers general assistance to eligible residents of the Village of Ridgefield Park.  We also assist in preventing the shut off of utilities, provide food vouchers on an emergency basis, and make referrals to the appropriate agencies such as The Salvation Army, Center for Food Action, Bergen County Housing Authority, and Bergen County Shelter.
