Functions:
Issues Department of Health licenses to food establishments.
Conducts routine inspections of Food Establishments, monitors Food Handler licenses.
Responds to complaints of Insects, rodents, garbage, mold, heat complaints, unsanitary conditions.
Dog Bite incidents - Quarantine notices, Follow-up with veterinarians to ensure the animal is healthy. (Not rabid).
Conducts rabies clinic annually.
Well baby clinic - Letters to new parents advising of free vaccinations for babies and children.
Unlicensed dogs - Post Card reminders and follow up letters to dog owners. Issue summonses.
