Heavy Rescue Squad
The Ridgefield Park Heavy Rescue Squad would like to thank all the residents and business owners for their generosity during our 2007 Fund Drive. The Heavy Rescue Squad responded to a record number of calls for service in 2007. Keep watching for updates.
Our current emergency response vehicle is 35-feet long and manufactured by Seagrave. Among its features are a ten-ton winch and a 9,000-watt lighting mast. The various compartments contain enough tools and equipment to handle any emergency situation including vehicle extrications, high-angle and water rescue.
