Please be advised that the grace period for paying first quarter 2018 property taxes has been extended until close of business on Monday, February 12th, since February 10th falls on a Saturday.
The tax office will be open until 8:00PM on Monday, February 5th to receive payments.
After the grace period, interest on Delinquencies will be calculated from the Legal Due Date of February 1. Thereafter 8% interest is calculated on the first $1500 owed, 18% on balance from due date.
Payment for property taxes may be submitted in person or mailed to the Municipal Building to the attention of the Tax Collector’s Office. Payments may be made by cash (in person at the payment window only) or by check. Payments may also be made online by credit or checking. Please be advised that online payments will be subject to additional fees. Tax payments may also be submitted into a mail box (pictured below) located next to the police records window inside the Park Street entrance of the Municipal Building (checks only, please do not leave cash in the mailbox).
If you do not know what your property taxes are for the quarter, use the Property Tax Lookup or contact the Tax Collector’s office at the Municipal Building.
