Parking Restrictions for the Fourth of July

The Ridgefield Park Police Department would like to advise all residents on the parking restrictions that will be in effect for the events on July 4th..

Parade Parking
The Village of Ridgefield Park will be having its 129th July 4th Celebration on Tuesday July 4th, 2023. The Main Parade is scheduled to kick off at 11:30  AM.

There will be no parking on Euclid Ave between Preston Street and Hobart St between 6 am and 11 am.
There will be no parking on Main Street between Rt 46 and Union Place between 6 am and 3 pm.

There will be no parking on DESIGNATED SECTIONS of the following streets between 7 am and 3 pm:
Hudson Ave                                    Euclid Ave                              Popular Street
Brewster Ave                                  Union Place                            Preston Street
Ridgefield Ave                                 Roosevelt Ave                        Park Street

There will be no parking permitted in Veterans Park throughout the day. This includes the parking at the Ridgefield Park Jr. Sr. High School and the Little League Field upper and lower parking areas.

Please follow the emergency NO PARKING SIGNS that have been posted. Vehicles parked in violation will be subject to being ticketed and towed.

As reminder no silly string, bicycles or skateboards are permitted on the parade route.

Concert & Fireworks Parking
The Village of Ridgefield Park will also be hosting a concert and fireworks display in Veterans Park.
Evening entertainment will begin at 7:30 PM. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:30 PM.

There will be no parking east of Teaneck Rd between Mt. Vernon Street and East Grand Ave for the fireworks. Handicapped Parking will be provided at the Little League Field. Access to handicapped parking will be via Morningside Lane only. A handicapped placard is required to park in the designated area.

All parties entering Veterans Park will be subject to a security check prior to entering. No alcohol, fireworks or weapons of any sort are permitted.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  In addition, no bicycles or dogs are permitted in Veteran’s Park during the fireworks.

Finally, residents are reminded that the use and possession of most fireworks are illegal with limited exceptions.
