Public Art Committee

The Pubic Art Committee is comprised of residents who wish to enhance the Village's Public Art  Members are chosen by the Commissoiner responsible for Concerts, Art & Culture.

Members of the committee are: Karen Pupura - Chair of the Ridgefield Park Arts Association, Tom Olcott - member of the Ridgefield Park Arts Association, George Cooke - member of the Ridgefield Park Arts Association & 2022 Artist Laureate and Sunny Shin - Owner of ART MORA.

The Public Art Committee’s job is to help guide the village’s Public Art Program. The program in the past concentrated on concerts. 5 years ago the village began adding sculptures and murals to our public places. Last year Busking was added to our business district.

We are looking for quality musicians, sculptors, mural painters, and installation artists to add to our roster of artists for future projects. If you are interested performing or creatinig pubic art for the village please send an email with a short bio to [email protected].  If you are a village resident or have a village connection please mention that.

If you have public art you would like to loan to the village to be displayed for a time in our public spaces please send an email to [email protected] with a picture of sketch of your artwork.
