To maintain your plot, each gardener is expected to donate time to the maintenance of the garden by attending a minimum of 5 Work Sessions and 3 Meetings per season.

Overview

The Ridgefield Park Community Garden officially opened on Saturday, April 22, 2017 with two locations.

Fellowship Community Garden 

Located at Fellowship Park near the corner of Hobart Street and Bergen Avenue. Fellowship Park, locally known as the "tennis court park" has an official address of 65 Hobart St, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660.

McGowan Community Garden 

Located next to McGowan Park on Bergen Turnpike. McGowan Park, known for its gazebo and summer concerts, has an official address of 149 Bergen Turnpike, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660.

Additional Information

Applications are accepted year-round.

• Residents of Ridgefield Park can apply for a plot, which is free of charge.
• To maintain your plot, each gardener is expected to donate time to the maintenance of the garden by attending a minimum of 5 Work Sessions and 3 Meetings per season.
