The Ridgefield Park Public Library is thrilled to announce the reopening of the Gregory H. Olsen Local History Room, an important space dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of our Village.
The room's name honors a remarkable legacy of philanthropy. After the Olsen Family's generous donation in 1986 enabled the expansion of the Ridgefield Park Library, library board member Doris H. Conley approached Greg Olsen for additional support. His subsequent donation made the Archive Room possible, creating a permanent home for our community's historical treasures.
Located at the Ridgefield Park Public Library, the Greg Olsen Archive Room serves as the guardian of our village's history, with a sole purpose: to educate past, current, and future generations about the story of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
The room is expertly managed by our dedicated archivists, Megan Conley Krainski and Lynn Conley, who are committed to helping the community explore and preserve local history.
