Television (RPTV)

Since 1987, a group of community volunteers have been producing a cable access program aired on Time Warner Cable every Monday evening at 8 P.M. on Channel 81.

R.P.T.V. was conceived and fostered by former Mayor Fred J. Criscuolo. Over the years many changes have occurred but what has remained steadfast is the heart and soul of the show, Buddy Freeman, who passed away in 2005. RPTV is now filmed in cooperation with the Ridgefield Park Junior/Senior High School.

R.P.T.V. is proud to welcome and introduce our newest crew member, Ed Rochette. Ed is hosting the “We The People” segment. We are extremely pleased to have him aboard. Ed has enjoyed coaching Recreation basketball for six years along with coaching both soccer and baseball. He is also an active participant in St. Francis Church activities.

The staple of our program remains “The Mayor’s Corner” with Mayor George D. Fosdick, hosted by Ed Rochette. Every month Mayor Fosdick poses a historical question pertaining to the Village. All correct responses are tossed in a cap and the winner Receives a $25.00 gift certificate courtesy of R.P.T.V.
