Help Reduce Mosquito Populations

During the month of July, Bergen County has received over 8 inches of rain.  This increases the potential for standing water where mosquitoes will breed.  Besides the fact that mosquitoes are a nuisance, they can also potentially be dangerous especially during this time of year when West Nile Virus is prevalent.  The Bergen County Mosquito Control Division is reaching out to remind all residents to remove all standing water on their property, which can drastically reduce mosquito populations..
