The Ridgefield Park Heavy Rescue Squad would like to thank all the residents and business owners for their generosity during our 2007 Fund Drive. The Heavy Rescue Squad responded to a record number of calls for service in 2007. Keep watching for updates.
Our current emergency response vehicle is 35 feet long and manufactured by Seagrave. Among its features are a ten-ton winch and a 9,000-watt lighting mast. The various compartments contain enough tools and equipment to handle any emergency situation, including vehicle extrications, high-angle and water rescue.
