Detective Bureau
Detectives are entrusted with investigating crimes against persons and property. Narcotics investigations and follow-up to Patrol Division investigations are also handled by the Detective Bureau.
Juvenile Detectives investigate all offenses perpetrated by those under eighteen years of age as well as supplement the Detective Bureau.
If you would like to apply for a firearms identification card or a permit to purchase a handgun please follow directions found here.
The police department no longer has hardcopies of the application forms, all forms must be obtained from the New Jersey State Police Website.
