Stephen and Linda Quinn

Stephen and his wife Linda have called Ridgefield Park home for many years.  Stephen is a life-long resident of 73 years and Linda has lived in Ridgefield Park for 38 years.  Stephen retired after 40 years working for the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, while Linda retired as a Clerk in the Assessor’s Office here in the Village.  Both Stephen and Linda continue to participate in the civic life of the Village, serving on many organizations and projects.

The Quinns have been prudent and realistic in their years long environmental crusade.  For more than 50 years, Stephen, along with John Anlian, spearheaded the acquisition of the property needed for the new preserve and saw through all requirements to bring the plan to fruition.  The result was the creation of our Village of Ridgefield Park Nature Preserve.

Stephen and Linda continue to serve as Interpretive Naturalists for the Nature Preserve through the Ridgefield Park Environmental Commission.
